Located in Dameisha, OCT East is an amusement park that covers an area of nearly nine square kilometers. This 4A-level scenic area was constructed by OCT Group with an investment of 3.5 billion yuan (US$498 million), and is China’s first large-scale comprehensive “National Ecological Tourism Demonstration Zone” integrating leisure, sightseeing tourism, outdoor sports, science education and ecological adventure. OCT East consists of Knight Valley Ecological Park, Tea StreamValley Resort Park, Wind Valley Sports Park, Hotel Interlaken and Tianlu Mansion. 

In 2015, it was recognized as one of the first national tourism resort areas in China and the only one in Guangdong Province. Since its opening in 2007, OCT East has undergone 15 years of rapid growth and magnificent transformation, receiving a total of over 45 million visits.
